Sharon Swenson, LPN – 50 Year Milestone

On May 21, 2012, Sharon Swenson, LPN reached a milestone that not many, if any, other professionals reach. That date marked 50 years of continuous service at Ortonville Area Health Services for Sharon. Sharon has seen many changes in the years and the most recent is the conversion to electronic medical records.

Nurse Swenson graduated from NDSCS with her LPN degree in the 1961 and moved to Ortonville in 1962 to begin her employment. She also married Dorwin Swenson that year so she will celebrate two 50-year milestones in one year!

In recognition of Sharon’s years of service, an open house was held on May 22 from 1:30-3:00 p.m. honoring Sharon. Thanks Sharon for your dedication!
