Dr. Botker received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He completed his residency in family medicine at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Botker is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. He also completed an obstetrics fellowship at Altru Health Systems in Grand Forks, ND.

Dr. Botker specializes in family medicine, including prenatal care for OB patients. He has been practicing at Ortonville Area Health Services since 2014.
